I had braces with Dr. Mia for about two years, and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. My treatment included preparation for jaw surgery, so it was more complicated than a typical orthodontic case. Dr. Mia worked closely with my surgeon to make sure everything was ready before surgery, and after I came back she carefully adjusted my bite until everything fit together perfectly. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Mia was always patient, professional, and detail-oriented. She took the time to explain every step, answered all of my questions, and made me feel comfortable at every visit. The staff was also friendly and welcoming, and scheduling appointments was always easy. I finally got my braces off, and I’m really happy with my smile and my bite. Thank you, Dr. Mia and the whole team, for making this long journey such a positive experience. I highly recommend Manhattan Family Orthodontics to anyone looking for an orthodontist!

We had such a positive experience with Manhattan Family Orthodontics and are so happy with the results of our teen daughter’s Invisalign treatment. Choosing Invisalign over traditional metal braces was one of the best decisions we made. Manhattan Family Orthodontics came highly recommended by another mom at my daughter’s school, and I am so pleased to say that our experience was just as wonderful. From our very first visit, the entire team was warm, professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. They made the process easy to understand and were always available to answer questions and support us along the way. Not only did Invisalign beautifully straighten our daughter’s teeth, but it also taught her responsibility and accountability. Wearing the aligners consistently was ultimately her choice, and she learned firsthand that her commitment directly impacted her results. It gave her a sense of ownership and pride throughout the process. The entire experience was smooth, comfortable, and far less intrusive than having metal braces 24/7. Dr. Mia Kareem has been wonderful throughout my daughter’s orthodontic treatment. She is always welcoming, takes the time to explain everything clearly, and makes every visit a positive experience. We love Manhattan Family Orthodontics UES! Dr Karam is amazing! She is thoughtful, detail oriented, professional, patient, caring, skilled and very knowledgable! We felt super comfortable the minute we met her! Dr Karam takes time to explain the problem along with its treatment plan. She listens to her patients and involves them in their care. MFO staff is also wonderful - from the front desk to the orthodontic assistants, they are true gems!

We have had the best experience with Dr. Karam and Family Orthodontics. My daughter is very sensitive and has anxiety around doctors. Dr. Karam and her team took care of my daughter with patience and caring. Their care is top of the line; my daughter’s palate was narrow and overcrowded and now her teeth are beautiful and I don’t have to worry about potential complications in the future bc of her bite. We love manhattan orthodontics and couldn’t recommend them more highly!
